Recovery & thanks...

I just want to let everyone know that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, I have been recovery from dual hand surgery (carpal tunnel) and a big thank you to all those who have emailed and to all those on flickr who have been sending me notes/comments/messages. I have a few more weeks of physical therapy and then it's back to business... some great projects and shows coming up, hopefully I'll see you soon!

As for the blog, this used to function as my my "news" section for my old site, but my new site has that incorporated... so this is going to be more of a blog of interesting things, influences, events, as well as a place where I'll talk about new things I'm working on. Hope you enjoy what's coming and I hope you are all doing well.

Giant Robot SF - Tree Show 4 exhibit

There is a really awesome show at Giant Robot SF that I'm proud to be in which opens on Saturday May 17 called the Tree Show IV.

This year's Tree Show will also be a fundraising effort for San Francisco's Friends of the Urban Forest, a non-profit organization that plants over 1,500 trees a year to keep San Francisco communities green. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of artwork will go towards their efforts. For more information, please visit the group's website: fuf.net

New York Times

I know this isn't the best shot, but The New York Times featured my 9" dinner plate that I did for Urban Outfitters. The plate was on the NY Times website as well as in the Home and Garden section of the April 17th newspaper. So rad!
