I know this isn't the best shot, but The New York Times featured my 9" dinner plate that I did for Urban Outfitters. The plate was on the NY Times website as well as in the Home and Garden section of the April 17th newspaper. So rad!

Ovation TV
Ovation TV has been running some of my art on their homepage lately and during the months of April/May will also been running some spots on TV of my art as well. Ovation TV is channel 274 on Direct TV here in LA...

POKETO : first editions exhibition

Giant Robot SF - exhibtion

I've also got work at Giant Robot SF in a show called "At The Movies" which opens the same night as the GR2 LA show! Anyway, the work for GRSF is for a film inspired exhibit... the work for this show is supposed to be based off a pivotal scene in a film, I chose my favorite film of all time... The Royal Tenenbaums. I made two freestanding figures of Richie Tenenbaum from the amazing scene with the Elliot Smith song "Needle In The Hay" playing when he shaves his beard and says "tomorrow I'm going to kill myself" and then attempts suicide. The figures are the before and after of the beard shaving...

DDR Projects - Exhibitions

I've got some work in a show opening this Saturday in Long Beach, California at DDR Projects. The show is called "Visually Remastered" and artists were given the task of getting a painting from a thrift store and reworking it... I got this oil painting of a car and made a collage and cut and sewed it back together.
