Studio Issue // Guardian of Bravery Magazine // Rothick Art Haus

Guardian of Bravery Magazine is publishing a small book featuring the studios & works of several Southern California artists and is then featuring them all in an exhibition in Anaheim at the Rothick Art Haus. The exhibit / book release party is on Saturday July 10, from 7-10pm and will feature a few pieces from me.

Analogue Books solo show!

I'm heading back over to the UK for my next solo show entitled "All I Heard Was The Echo In The Light" which opens on June 4th at Analogue Books in Edinburgh, Scotland. There is a bunch of stuff in the works for this one... all new collages, prints, wooden people & lots & lots of flags. Analogue is also producing a 2 color T shirt, seen below, and there will also be a a new limited zine/catalog with screen printed pages and other goodies.

Here's a little bit about the show:

All I Heard Was The Echo In The Light is sunshine, desert & succulents. It’s going outside at night, watching the dying suns and witnessing the new ones being born. Everything to and from dust. Geodesic domes, the 1960’s, the sky & being alone. It’s about all the people I have never met. It’s about all of us living and about all of us dying. It’s about all the love I have for everything. There may be a crystal or two involved, sorry, I tried to keep it scientific. It’s sewn. It’s printed. It’s painted. It’s 100% handmade. Everything is infinite. It will last forever & it will also end on July 10, 2010.


I'm also going on a super abridged tour of Scandinavia with stops in Gothenburg & Oslo.. so come out and say "hello!"

2K by Gingham

Super hyped to have a bunch of new T's coming out with 2K. There are no words to describe how awesome this is.. I mean, I've got shirts at the same place as Milton Glaser! Not to mention the tons of other amazing people.. Anyway, for those of you that have been wanting my heart graphic, aka the We Are Not Two We Are One in another format asides from a print.. your wish has come true. I got my sample this week and I love it. It's my favorite T shirt I've ever made. Anyway, keep a look out.. they'll be available worldwide soon...

Vannen Watches // summer watch

So, it's not exactly an entire new watch, but I did design new straps for my holiday watch to make it a summer watch... you get 2 sets of straps, the original holiday themed one and the new summer explosion ones. It's like a transformer. It's hella rad. & for you non Californians that means "it's awesome." Click the images to get better detail views...

Kitsune Noir Desktop Wallpaper Project

I've got a brand new desktop wallpaper available over at the amazing Kitsune Noir blog.. and it's for pretty much any size screen from your ginormous monitor to your PSP & it's totally free! It's half computer drawing & real life paper and pen drawing with some old book pages I cut up and scanned in. I can never seem to make anything solely on the computer.. Super big thanks to Kitsune Noir, where you can literally get lost for hours looking at pretty things.

Hello by Candystore Collective

The San Francisco boutique, Candystore, just opened a second location @ 2226 Bush St (between Steiner & Filmore) and asked me to do a permanent installation in the shop... So I packed up and headed to SF for a week and designed and built this giant wooden piece.. The new store is called Hello by Candystore Collective and they are having a big grand opening party on Friday April 23rd, go out and see it all in person!

Grove bamboo Iphone cases

I'm proud to have been invited to be a part of the launch of a new company called Grove which does laser engraved bamboo Iphone cases. The cases are made from sustainable / recycled materials.. and the packaging is made from the cut off / extra bamboo from the manufacturing of the actual cases.. so nothing is wasted!

Poketo v. Kistune Noir v. Space15Twenty

All 3 have teamed up to bring you an amazing group of artists for a show called "Los Angeles, I'm Yours." From Poketo & Kitsune Noir about the show - "'Los Angeles I'm Yours' transforms the Space 1520Twenty Gallery into a living art market. Filled with an eclectic mix of found objects, these vintage pieces are given new life as over 30 artists reinterpret and reincarnate them into art."

The images are some of my pieces for the show.. vases that I acid etched and then drew on.The show opens in Hollywood on Friday 24 April from 7-10pm.. hope to see you there.
